[Part A] How to Write an Essay ?

  • When we go for a movie in theatre then at first we listen to music. Why ? Because it prepares our mind for movie. We might enter the theater with different moods but music makes our mind very warm. It is like warm up before exercise.. All agree till now ??
  • The introduction of an essay is like foreplay or music in theatre before beginning the movie. The introduction familiarizes the examiner what he is going to read. It prepares the mind of the examiner towards the latter part. So introduction must have the capacity to sway the mind of examiner and it must give him an holistic view what he is going to read.
  • After that movie begins in screen. Characters come. In first part of the movie we get a simple idea about the nature and purpose of the characters of the movie.. Right ? All agree ?
  • After beginning we get an idea about the characters of the movie. In that way ; after introduction we give an idea about the different aspects of topic in an essay . Right ? Then what happens ? Conflict arises. The parents does not recognise the love of her daughter. Because lover is outcast. In that way; after introduction and briefing ; we have to bring different conflicting ideas related with the topics. Agree ?
  • Till now we have seen introduction.. Briefing.. And conflicting... Now movie is in full swing. Action...tragedy..drama. The parents keep daughter in closed room. Hero comes to meet her climbing window. The goons beat him and throw him into river.....
  • Then we are curious what will happen ? Whether hero will die or not...it is called climax.
  • In essay; after presenting confliction we have to bring climax. How ? We have to relate the conflicting aspects of the topic with various elements of society...country.. Etc...agree ?
  • Climax means how the elements of confliction will again conflict with elements of climax. Climax is an extended version of conflict.. Agree???
  • After that " literary relief " appears. What does it mean ? It means it calms down our curiosity and blood pressure thinking what will happen to hero
  • Fortunately an old lady treats hero and makes him good. On the other hand condition of heroine is bad. She escaped from house. But on the way goons want to kidnap her. Hero appears . saves her. Union of two families. Marriage. Party.
  • In that way after climax we have to give our solution to the conflicts of the essay. Agree ?
  • After appearing in happy ending what happens ? The producer shows some moments of shooting...
  • After solution in essay we have to give a conclusion summarizing all points of the essay with an optimistic view.
  • In a movie we see dance ; music etc. It enhance our attraction towards movie. In that way your language; Your structure ; Your viewpoint and analysis will be supplement to music of a movie. We will discuss about it in details in next article...
